Appearance: Rookpaw's name was a surprise to the Clan at her birth; that name is usually reserved for a coal-black she-kit, isn't it? Yet it makes sense, really, if you see how her mother saw it. This she-cat is a seal tabby point -- in breeders terms. Her unique pelt is a pale color, on which faint tabby stripes can be seen. She is pointed on her head, legs, tail, etcetera, with darker hues, and her eyes are a deep blue. Though she is slim enough, Rookpaw is built of sturdy legs and a lean frame that mark her as athletic.
Her name, Rookpaw, actually came from her pelt itself. A rook is a bird commonly seen in the british reigon these felines live in, and Rookpaw herself isn't pure white. As rooks are similar to crows, yet not quite as stick-skinny and lithe, this she-cat's mother saw this as the perfect name for what was then a kit. It makes perfect sense if you think about it -- Rookpaw is touched with darkness that condradicts the pure-white expectations, creating a 'seal tabby point' that heralds to long-ago housecat origins .. perhaps. An apprentice's pelt, 'touched with darkness ...' a good or bad omen?
Personality: Life as an AshClan cat hit Rookpaw hard as soon as she left the nursery. Ever since she heard the word and knew what it meant had the fiery young cat wanted to be a warrior, until her dreams came crashing down. At a young age, as well, she learned that this was a male-only position ... not that that's stopping her any. The never-say-die apprentice vowed that she'd find a way not to rot in the nursery. Still, though she is friendly to her clanmates and creative, she happens to have a bit of a temper, and can be slightly paranoid. Slightly.
Rookpaw has a mischevious streak, and can be a bit of a tomboy seeing as she can't sit still for lengthy periods of time. She makes sure not to let her sarcasm go overboard, for once she gets on a roll about something, it is sometimes hard for her to stop. In the same streak, she has a tendancy to hold grudges and a thirst for revenge once the anger strikes. Her temper doesn't last too long in retrospect, but her anger does, and though she may not show it after the fit ends, not everything is still happy-doodle-dandy, so to speak. She gets back to someone one way or another, big or small in impact, and this may be one of her biggest downfalls. Still, most days her excitement, creativity, and general friendliness to those she is close to overcomes it.• fiery • friendly • persistent • click • tempermental •
