MOUSEPELT
Gender: She-cat
Age: 2 years
Rank: Nanny
Appearance: Thin and petite, Mousepelt is remains true to her namesake with her mousy grey tabby pelt and small frame. Her eyes are deep green, the shade of pond water, with small muddy flecks of brown. Though she eats as well as any cat, Mousepelt maintains a slender frame running around caring for the ever-mischievous kits in the clan. On her back towards her tail, their are a few faded black dapples reminiscent of leopard spots, but they are barely visible. Her tail is thick around the base, fanning out at the end, revealing a white underside. Her paws, ears, and nose are tipped in black and her belly is a slightly lighter charcoal color, the tabby stripes fading underneath. Mousepelt has a typical tabby wildcat appearance, and was named for her mousy appearance. Though her petite frame helps her crawl into tight spaces, there isn't much use for it other than to retrieve the occasional straying kit. Sometimes she wishes she didn't look so ordinary, but other times she's glad to blend in. She keeps her fur almost impeccably groomed, as she likes to be clean.
Personality:
- SENSIBLE: Though a clan cat by birth, Mousepelt has a difficult time with a clan mindset, and always finds herself preferring to rely on herself rather than leave tasks in the paws of others. She wouldn't dream of depending on others, which is understandable, given that as a she-cat, and a nanny no less, she gets no respect from hardly any cat other than kits. She often fears that things are too good to be true, and that if it's too easy, then it must be a trap. She goes about her business quietly and tries not to ruffle any cat's fur or get in their way. Mousepelt is perfectly comfortable going about doing things the way they always were, a creature of habit.
- NERVOUS: Always alert and skittish, Mousepelt is ready to bolt at the drop of a hat it seems. She has a difficult time trusting others, and is often suspicious of anything out of the ordinary. She's very cautious, which can be a good thing, especially when caring for kits, but sometimes she wishes she could stop being so anxious all the time. Skeptical by nature, Mousepelt always prefers to do things the same way, it's easier that way anyway.
- SUBMISSIVE: Unlike some of her fellow female clanmates, Mousepelt finds it difficult to take a stand for herself and her "rights". She doesn't even feel capable or deserving to even have rights, let alone know what to do with them. But something deep within her is stirring her emotions, piquing her curiosity. What if, just this once, she finally took a stand for herself, instead of standing by in the background?
History: Optional. (:
