CHAPTER ONE:

The she-cats of AshClan are granted very few rights. They are treated as property, there only to mate and have babies. The more rebellious ones, however, were given jobs to make them feel "important" and "equal". Many males guffawed at this idea and simply wrote them off. Males have always ruled the Clan, and they were confident they always will. For many years, the females put up with the strict discrimination. They did what they were expected to do. Mated, had babies, and died. To the rest of the world, they were pets, groomed all their lives to be prizes by their mate's side. Males were rulers of society without question.
Until Now.
A group of rebellious, free-thinking females finally put their paw down. They claimed to be sick of the abuse, and claimed that living this lie was killing every she-cat in the Clan. They demanded to be treated equally, with respect. Like they always did, the males in the Clan shook off their protests. "It won't last long, you just have to teach 'em who runs the place." They told teach other, puffing out their chests and sharpening their claws on dead trees. For a while, they seemed to be right in their assumptions. After days of protesting and tension-filled stares, the she-cats died down. Crept back into their holes, defeated. Or so it seemed.
One night, the same group of she-cats who started the rallies gathered up the exhausted Queens and Nannies who were dying to get out of the Clan. And they ran, as far as their legs would carry them. "We're fighting back," Was all they ever told one another. Fighting back. Two words that would change AshClan and it's society forever. The missing she-cats were discovered the next morning and a Huntress patrol was sent out to search for them (the Warriors, of course, were all too busy with what they called "Warrior business).
The search party never returned. Instead, four dead bodies were found not far from the AshClan Territory border. It was certainly a cat that got to them, and since there were no other Clans around AshClan, the rouge females were instantly suspected. And just like that, the war began. Later on, it was discovered that it was indeed the group of females - called Suffragettes - who had slaughtered the small Huntress party. At first, the males were shocked. For the first time in their life, they were wrong. A few males who believed in the Suffragette's cause ran away to fight with them. The remaining Queens and Nannies were put under extreme supervision, to prevent any more escapes. Will you stand up for what you think is right, or remain true to what has always been?
Guys, it's finally here! What do you think? The Suffragette group will be made shortly, and some new territories will be added. If you would like your character to be part of the rebellion, please PM me and your group will be modified. The Suffragettes are pretty much a leaderless Clan of mistreated she-cats who want to fight for equal rights. AshClan, on the other hand, is trying to keep traditions the same.
