Y E L L O W T H O R N
Gender: She-cat
Age: 65 moons (5 years)
Rank: Huntress
Appearance:With a pelt and eyes the color of the sun and long, sharp claws and fangs, it's quite obvious how Yellowthorn got her name. Though she was prettier in her younger moons, heated battles and prey chases that often lasted for miles in particularly harsh leaf-bares planted many scars both on her body and in her heart- but more about that later. One of Yellowthorn's more easily recognized attributes are her lithe build and graceful, fluid motion, both results of countless moons of endless training; she had to work twice as hard as the male apprentices her age, and received little sympathy for her endeavors. She has a torn left ear, though the other one is as long and pointed as the other one was before it was torn. Yellowthorn's tail is nothing unusual, though it is very important; how could she hope to run so gracefully without it?
Personality:Yellowthorn, though she is a she-cat, acts nothing like one. Ever since she was a kit, she preferred the company of toms, despite them thinking less of her because of her gender, since she could only find boring discussions of future kits and motherhood in the she-cats. It was obvious from the start what Yellowthorn wanted, and what she wanted was none other than to be a huntress. Not many she-cats chose the harsh path of a huntress, one that was often more harsh than that of a warrior, but those who did were respected. She wanted some of that respect, and has now earned it. All of her hard work has paid off. Having to train twice as hard as any tom, receiving little consolation, all of it has paid off, since she is now one of the most respected and quick-witted huntresses in AshClan. Though she knows that she could never be a leader because of her gender, she still can't help but fantasize having complete control over her clan- not that this is a bad thing, mind you! She would love nothing more than to have the power to destroy, but she would never do so; she really is kind-hearted deep down, and would probably make a wonderful leader- if she were a tom. Instead, she is the leader of the huntresses so-to-speak, often being looked up to by younger she-cats and respected in her clan- even by some toms. She tends to be a bit bossy, and even though she knows that she has no official authority over the other huntresses, she tends to be the one leading patrols and coordinating battle structures. Most of the huntresses follow her without a second thought, knowing that she's had many years of experience. Though she is respected by she-cats, she rarely socializes with them, sticking to the toms who admire her for her power- she earns their respect more easily than most she-cats- but she ultimately keeps to herself, pondering what her life will bring.
