No New Posts enborne river.

not far off of AshClan camp is the Enborne, a slender, clean river that runs through the countryside for miles. It's chock full of glittering trout and great for fishing since it's pretty shallow. Many of the nannies also take the kittens on the banks to frolic in the water. The Enborne isn't really too deep or two wide; about three feet deep and four feet wide. It's simply a pleasant area to play and fish and live.

No New Posts bluejay summit.

Bluejay Summit is actually a series of soft, grassy hills. They're good to look-out from and the dry soil also makes it a nice place to dig some burrows. However, there are no trees. Just long, flowing grass. From the highest hill, you can see for miles. AshClan is surrounded by no danger, save for a small band of foxes that sometimes come into territory. These hills are great assets in emergency situations.

No New Posts wildflower meadow.

at the foothills of Bluejay Summit is the beautiful Wildflower Meadow. It's filled with pastel-colored flowers that sway in the breeze like ballet dancers. The Meadow is a popular place for Medicine Cats to look for herbs and such - deep in the ground are the healing herbs and pain-relieving herbs. Although it really has no prey, it is a nice place to have fun or take your mate or sometimes even to practice pouncing in the thick cover of the wildflowers. In the summer is the peak of the blooming; when it seems like there's a liquid rainbow swirling through the grass, rippling, swirling, rippling...

No New Posts spiderdawn forest.

named for one of the greatest AshClan Warriors of all time, a legend to those who lived after his time, Spiderdawn Forest is almost sacred - the kind of place you'd never think to be real until one day you discover it innocently. There's nothing special about the forest other than the namesake; the trees are healthy, the prey is good, it offers good shelter or cover in an emergency. Like most other places in AshClan territory, it's just a nice place to come hang out after you're finished hunting or even for young Apprentices to work on their speed training over the uneven earth.

Sub-board: spooky catacombs.

No New Posts dens.

AshClan dens are large and roomy; they actually seem to be more similar to rabbit burrows than anything else. Each Warrior/Apprentice den is about two feet deep and two and a half feet across, with a sort of cove that blocks out the weather. Most of them are comfortable and earthly, with soft soil and moss for comfortable beds. The Leader and Deputy sleep in the same den, which is more like a cave in retrospect; a wide yawning slab of marble.

Sub-boards: leader's den., deputy's den., medicine cat's den., warrior and apprentice dens., huntress den., queen and nanny dens., elder den.

No New Posts central camp.

you could think of this part of the camp as a 'square' - it's a gathering place for everyone if you're too lazy to wander outside the camp or if the weather isn't too good. There are three flat sunning rocks and even a little bit of grass, plus one small tree that offers a scrawny bit of shade. The Nannies often take the kittens here to introduce them to the Clan, or let them play quietly while they relax in the sunlight. The fresh kill pile is located here, at the base of the single tree - it is located in a small ditch and in sight of the Deputy den, for supervision.

No New Posts yarrow's shrine.

in the southwest corner of the camp is Yarrow's shrine; a circle of the sort of rocks that sparkle arranged around a single stalk of Yarrow, the very herb that their god was named for. This place is well-visited; many have claimed to catch sightings of a shadowy, cat-shaped figure floating above them while asking Yarrow for guidance; others say they sometimes her a shadowy voice in their head and then a cold wind blows by, even if it is a hot summer day. Oh, the mysteries of faith.

No New Posts vision pool.

if you are the least bit observant, you would notice that there's a small hole in the brambles behind the Elder's den; if you slip through it, you'd find yourself in a small bush-like structure with nettles and rough branches for the roof. This little cavern is only about two feet high and a foot across, but it is very sacred to AshClan. In the center of it is a single pool of dark, rich water. This is the place where Leaders go to think and Medicine Cats go to see. Just being there has a certain effect on you - like you don't dare say a word.

No New Posts morningshine marsh.

although it isn't so clean, the marsh is a large area and occupies most of the Suffragette's land. The ground is thick and muddy, not good to hunt in; soil sticks to your paws and weighs you down horribly. Even though Morningshine Marsh isn't good to hunt in, it provides excellent cover in the thick reeds. The swampy smell also masks scent well, so it's a useful attribute.

No New Posts boulder quarry.

like the Marsh, the Boulder Quarry provides excellent shelter in though weather, and it's easier to hunt where the soil isn't so sticky. All around this part of Alder Hollow are giant, pale-shaded rocks, some as big as elephants. Over time, many have worn down small crevices, and the Suffragettes have lain many of these with moss to use as makeshift dens. This is also considered to be Central Camp for them, as the taller rocks make for good announcement places. They also get pleasantly warm in the sunlight.

No New Posts forest clearing.

located in the approximate center of Suffragette territory, the forest clearing is a ten-yard area of soft, moist dirt and abundant prey. If you're going to go hunting, here is the best place. The many bushes provide great cover and the rich soil means there's always going to be small animals scurrying about. The clearing is simply a nice place to gather and converse, but the only downside is that it is not very far from AshClan camp itself - and sometimes, if Feverstar is feeling particularly nasty he will send Warrior patrols out here to hassle the banished cats. This doesn't happen often, however. In the springtime, this becomes a nice spot to nap; the sunlight filters through the thick tree canopies in such a way that it lets in the perfect amount of light and heat. However, in the wintertime a bit more snow gets in than usual, leaving it cold and lifeless.

No New Posts bramble patch.

in all honestly, the Bramble Patch is completely worthless, unless you're looking to get hundreds of tiny puncture wounds. However, many mice go frolicking around the wide patch because they can fit under the brambles, where they know they are safe from harm. At times, these can be a useful training attribute if you know how to use it right, or an obstacle for a quick enemy in a battle.
