friends uncommon. although he doesn't have many, he could use one or two friends who can empathize with him. he is very shy and more of a girly-tom type. he needs friends who can understand his 'tude. perhaps a few that are somewhat alike him? if you wish, you could have a more rambunctious buddy who would drag him into conflicts against his will? that would be amusing.

enemies even more uncommon. finchpaw tries his best to hide from those who would make a point to hate him. if any, they would probably hate him because he acts so much like a she-cat. however, if they tried to openly insult him, he would be backing down at the unsheathing of the others claws or a narrow gaze. he isn't one to quarrel.

mate/crush these relations wouldn't work too well - however, if anyone actually wanted to try for his heart, it would have to be a more of a controlling, strong she-cat rather than a weak one - a female with tomboy tendencies to offset his male with female tendencies. he isn't one for flirting, so it will take a while to dig into his heart. as far as he knows, he doesn't want a mate.

mentor/teacherish buddy friends who can share his outlandish view of the world. preferably someone older than him, female, and someone who wouldn't look down on him because of age.

aha -- how 'bout a rookpaw/finchpaw relationship? I was thinking crush, but it is your call. She's the last cat to have a crush on anyone, but she could be a bit uncomfortable around him at first. She's a tomboy who wanted to become a warrior, and the only reason she isn't a suffagrette is because she hopes to learn some more in apprenticeship training first. If it were to be mutual, she would be the last to realize feelings. What do you think?

crush/eventually mate would be good - i would say you could make the final cut, because i'm really bad at that sort of thing... and he would be uncomfortable as well, since he's extremely shy and not good at getting across what he wants to say. finchpaw is secretly a supporter of the suffagrette (suffagrettes? suffagrette?), but because of his shy nature he doesn't like taking on others, especially older toms who are stronger and wiser than him.

that could work, i guess. ^^; finchpaw would most likely be really uncomfortable at first, even more shy and jumpy once he realizes that he likes her, but he would eventually tell her, ect. cetra... :3
